If only We could quit that one vice

Can’t pretend our shadows know how to play nice

A reminder to maybe think twice

See through the illusions

Before it becomes delusions

& Memories scatter into confusion

Are we everything we’ve been told to be

If yes - then let me help you see

Because helping you also helps me

My mental capacity is very much alive

I’ve got tons of energy just waiting to thrive

In search of a path that I can survive

Going deeper inside

Let me Hotwire this vessel - throw it in ‘D’ for Drive

Patient for that spark

Wandering through the dark

I remain the same

Appearing ‘Sane’

Holding back - Why so tame

Still in ‘P’ for Park

Bout time I ghosted the ‘P’

Already Acknowledged my preference for the ‘D’

No longer interested in thoughts of who I should be

Let’s define ourselves - Maybe then we’ll be free

Aware that the universe owes nothing to me

I hope one day that third eye can see

It’s a process worth fighting for…
